St. John's
of Taunton
St. John’s was built in 1869 with the first
service held on December 5, 1869 and then
consecrated on June 19, 1873. The style of the building is early
English. The main part of the
church has a seating capacity of 400, and a chapel, connected
by sliding doors, accommodates about 50 people.
