The Plains Hotel

The Plains Hotel and Wedding Chapel is the perfect place for you, if you are looking for a romantic, out of the way place for your small wedding with none of the organizing hassles.

Once inside the chapel, the ambience embraces you.  The chapel is always decorated with flowers of the season.  Six wall sconces with amber lights provide a warm and soft glow on the antique walls.  It accommodates 12 people including the bride and groom.  The "pews" consist of antique wooden carved chairs.  The wooden beams are covered with bridal net, ivy and small white glistening lights. This along with the lighted candles provide the perfect atmosphere inside this small chapel.  The music consists of a CD sound system that is quite adequate for such a small place.  The lace covered alter with off white candleholders and candles add the final touch of uniqueness to the chapel.  Most of our weddings are evening candlelight ceremonies; however, an afternoon wedding is possible.

The small wedding chapel sits only 7 feet from the hotel and carries with it the same charm and uniqueness as the Hotel.  The wedding chapel was created in 2004; however, the small building that now houses the chapel was built in the early 1900's.
